Battlefield 2 is about to blow us away. The game has gone gold, and is expected to be on shelves in late June. The
official shipping date is June 21. The online war game has looked really impressive for a while now, and continued to
wow us at E3 this year.
According to VE3D, Gamespot will have the exclusive demo on June 10th.

On shelves in late June.Disgusting.I should have paid for it and been able to download it last night within an hour of it being declared "gold." It is inexcusable that gaming fans are forced to sit on their hands and wait for a game they wish to spend their hard-earned cash on simply because the antiquated buggy-whip manufacturers that are the retail games industry refuse to die and are huge pricks to companies that want to offer their goods online and direct to the consumer.Oh well, it will be out on the warez scene within a few days probably. They have an entire body of LAW going against them and yet they manage to get product to their consumers in a reasonable fashion. In 10 years the industry will look back on that fact and smack their foreheads.

You're throwing a fit because you have to wait 19 days longer?

#1 is right, and Vavle is the only one who has done it properly thus far.More disgusting though, are the concept of "exclusive" demos. Fuck Gamespot, IGN and the lot of them. Making a demo exclusive to your POS site will NEVER make me visit it.

and that goes for fileplanet too. Making games or demos exclusive for you to subscribe, pay and download......screw that.
